What makes ours special?
Our products are made by Milbon, a Japanese hair care company, and they are cruelty free. Japan is where the headspa service originated, we trust Milbon with our life. Our headspa is located in a private room with two beds. You don’t need to wonder at Luxy Lou’s if your headspa was worth it, we take a look at the scalp under a microscope before and after your services so that you may see the results for yourself! Our beds massage your entire body, and they have an optional heated feature for additional comfort and relaxation.

Is it safe for expectant mothers?
Generally yes but always consult with your doctor on if there are any herbs or oils you should be avoiding, or that laying flat for 60-90 minutes is safe.
How often should you a headspa treatment?
As the skin, including the scalp, undergoes a renewal cycle of approximately 28 days, scheduling a monthly Head Spa appointment can effectively contribute to maintaining a healthy scalp.
Can I receive a Headspa treatment if I have a scalp condition?
Your health and safety are our top priorities. If you are currently experiencing a flare-up of psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, eczema, or any other scalp condition that results in open wounds or visible signs of fresh or dried blood, we kindly ask that you wait until your flare-up has fully subsided before scheduling or receiving a head spa service.
Please note: If our team identifies any open wounds, sores, or blood on the scalp using our trichoscope during your consultation, we will not be able to proceed with your treatment that day. This is to ensure your safety, prevent infection, and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and care for all clients.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, and we are happy to help you reschedule your appointment once your scalp is healed.
